Base Section

This section is the bottom third of the unit. It includes the assembly, rubber ring for securing middle section, and grommets for securing leg assembly.

Case

This sturdy tool box is rugged enough for the job site and truck. Being specifically designed for the Solar Pathfinder™, it secures the Pathfinder™ unit by locking it down and protecting the dome from damage. The tripod , manual, diagrams, pens, and other supplies also have secure storage.

Dome Section

This section is the top third of the unit. It includes the top assembly, dome, brass ring, and brass clips to fasten dome securely.

Instrument Section

This is the middle third of the unit. It includes the assembly, level, compass, diagram disc, and magnetic declination adjustment.

Lens -- clear

These clear lens might be useful to those using the Solar Pathfinder for riparian data, tree canopy studies, etc. where shading is greater.

Lens -- smoke

The lens reflects a panoramic view of the site.

Lens -- smoke --second

These lenses have slight imperfections (not on shape, only in texture). Because half of the lens is never used anyway (the half away from the sun's path), the imperfections can be placed on the unused side of the instrument with no harm to its' function. Great savings! Quantities limited.

Telescoping Aluminum Tripod

The aluminum tripod, being non-ferrous, will not interfere with the compass function. The tripod’s telescoping legs extend to approximately 30 inches and can compensate for rugged terrain or sloped roof.

Tripod Tune Up Kit

NOTE: If the inner legs of the tripod are slipping in too easily, you might try to rotate them so that another part of the o-ring is touching the inner leg. If that doesn't work, they might need to be replaced.

• 1 triangle rubber joint
• 3 rubber tips/feet
