Customer response to the Solar Pathfinder Assistant has been great! Not only have we received praise concerning the software’s ease of use and professional-looking reports, but we have received some great suggestions for making it even better!

Version 2.0 was largely a result of customer feedback. Here is a list of added goodies for Version 2.0:

• Averages multiple analysis (4 corners of an array, etc.)
• Lists makes/models of PV panels & invertors (automatically giving DC rate/derate factors)
• CSI-EPBB compliant (CA Solar Initiative -- uploads into the CSI calculator site)

Here is a list of improvements for Version 3.0:

• Draws latitude specific monthly sunpaths (i.e. SPA will draw draw monthly sunpaths for exactly 37 degrees N. Lat. -- instead of depending on the average of latitude bands)
• Includes weather data for North America (Canada & USA), Europe, & Southwest Pacific (as listed in the WMO Regions 4,5 & 6 -- see SPA page for listing of countries)
• Exports in: PDF, CSV, CSI website, OnGrid software, spreadsheets, etc.

To update from any previous version to latest version:
• Version 3.0 is dramatically different from any previous version and will install beside any previous versions. You can uninstall version 1.0 or 2.0 using Add/Remove Programs under the Control Panel if you want to, but it is not necessary.

There is some security built into this download. Follow all directions.
